The Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) is a community-driven immigration program designed to help smaller communities across Canada attract skilled workers and their families to settle in rural and northern regions. This pilot program offers a pathway to Permanent Residency (PR) for individuals who wish to live and work in participating communities outside major urban centers.
The RNIP allows communities in rural and northern Canada to directly nominate skilled workers to fill labor shortages. If selected, applicants can apply for Permanent Residency through the program.
